So when does... Sex = Birkin or Birkin = Sex?

So when does sex = a Birkin, or when does a Birkin = sex? Does this mean that if you are great in bed that you deserve an Hermès Birkin, or do you qualify to receive one just for simply giving up the goods? Is it really a question that if you receive an Hermès Birkin Handbag that your love will get sex afterward? I think not. As a woman, I know that if my guy purchases an Hermès Birkin Handbag for me as a gift, he will get the surprise of his life the next time he comes home from work, as well as the second after receiving the bag. Have you ever been surprised with a brand new Birkin from your lover? Was it not the best sex of your life after they gave you a Birkin? We know we don’t have to ask the men! Personally, I think that is the best sex. Forget makeup sex, let us all have post-Birkin receiving sex! Bring on the Birkins boys! We’ll be waiting.

New Hermès bags, new Hermès colors and new Hermès prices!

WoW, it has been months and I have not had a chance to write on this blog. So many new things happening this year! We started the hermespurseforum.com and with createursdeluxe.com we have been moving non-stop!
New bags, new colors and new prices!
The news on the street is Patrick Thomas, CEO Business Week said that future increases are primarily due to higher prices for luxurious fabrics like cashmere, silk and crocodile leather. If that is the case, then why is it every year Hermes has a price increase without fail? It seems when January rolls around the price increase varies, but there is always an increase. So how much is too much for a bag? I remember buying my very first 35cm Birkin Matte Havanne Crocodile with gold hardware, priced at $14,500 in 2000. That same bag today retails for $50,000 (not to mention the price of paying a buyer to buy the bag!) I am told that a new 35cm Birkin bag in Crocodile with diamonds at Hermès is now selling for 196,000 euros, at today's rate would be $260,000. So once again I ask, how much is too much for a bag? If each year Hermes increases the bags by 10%, in 10 years a leather Birkin bag could cost as much as $25,000, (this would probably be $50,000 on the resale market).

You are only as good as your last Hermès Birkin bag

In the sports world, you are only as good as your last Championship. In the Hermès world, you are only as good as your last bag, unless every bag is as gorgeous as the next. The problem in collecting Hermès handbags (what a problem to have!) is which bag is the “it” bag of the season. I have seen all the magazines with Victoria Beckham and her gorgeous Himalayan Birkin bag with diamonds. A Gorgeous bag! I had the opportunity to buy another Himalayan Birkin bag so I jumped at the opportunity. When I finally received the bag, to my surprise Hermès has yet another color in the Himalayan family. The first color is in a creamy white crocodile with darker brown edges graduating from light to dark (somewhat like the Himalayan cat!). The new grey Himalayan is an animal of its own, and you don’t even have to feed it!

Hemes Matte Bougainvillea Crocodile Birkin Handbag

I received and email back in September of 2011 from “Madame K” with an attachment of the most beautiful matte colored crocodile Birkin bag I had ever seen. She wrote, If you ever get this, please call, morning, noon or night. I have no idea who the person is in the photo carrying the bag but I was intrigued to say the least. Here is the photo “Madame K” sent me:

The only problem I could see was the beautiful gold hardware was behind the gold bars which makes scratching on the hardware like a Brillo pad, YIKES! Take the hardware out from the bars to avoid scratching of your hardware.

Anyway we finally special ordered this bag since it was so amazing!

I am making my New Years resolution to write something on our blog. 

Today I saw Birkin bags galore in Palm Beach (it must be the key to cross the bridge into Palm Beach). 

At the hottest hair salon, all the Hermes Birkin bags were lined up like cars in a parking lot…….(covered in plastic of course in case of color splash!)
